ER-28, Inc.

Dr. de la Torre and Mr. Weitzen founded ER-28 in April of 2014 to address critical needs in Emergency Departments. This system consists of: Onsite Clinical Training, Interactive Mobile Mentoring, the ER-28 Global Network and the ER-28 Handheld App. The ER-28 System guarantees increased revenues and decreased utilization – concurrently.

Emergency Departments are experiencing: a tripling of Advance Practice Providers (APPs); new ICD-10 Billing Codes; Bundled Payments; rising patient LWBS (Left Without Being Seen); declining Throughput; low Patient Satisfaction and resource over-utilization.

The ER-28 Clinical Training System focuses on the top 28 presenting complaints, which represent over 90% of Emergency Department visits. This system empowers APPs to make better decisions on behalf of patients – resulting in dramatically increased throughput and improved patient satisfaction.

In summary: APPs become more productive, knowledgeable and skilled in their practice; Physicians are freed up to focus on higher acuity patents; and Hospitals are guaranteed recaptured revenues exceed the ER-28 consultant fees (contact us for details).
